Hi! I have problem with windows sleep mode and OC Athlon 3000G. So it looks like that: 3000G is OC to 3.8Ghz with 1.375V CPU Vcore and IGP 1600Mhz with 1.2V. It is stable as rock and passes all benchmarks and burning tests but only to first sleep of system. (it is in HTPC so using sleep mode is crucial for me). So after wake up system the voltage of CPU goes down to something like 1.25V and system isn't stable anymore because of lower voltage. Sometimes freezes, sometimes reboots. How to force voltage to back again to 1.375V after sleep mode? I tried different settings in UEFI - no luck. Any advice?
Is the High Performance power profile enabled? Also read that if use hibernation instead of sleep, this may correct the problem.
Could try to use ThrottleStop to set the multiplier
Maybe try to disable C-states as well.
High perfomance is enabled. I already tried to disabled C-Stats - no success. I'll try hibernation tommrow.
To rule out Overclocking as the cause of your issue can you temporarily reset the APU back to its original parameters with no Overclocking or did the processor come overclocked from the manufacturer?
It is definitely overclocking issue. I decreased CPU to 3.7Ghz and set all voltage settings to auto also all advanced settings of cpu to auto. GFX still is still oveclocked 1600MHz an 1.2V and now everything is ok. After sleep i can go back to gaming and no crash at all. So I have to just accept this settings. I'm only curious what is responsible for return to overclocked voltage. I just wonder If it is possible to set fixed 1.375 cpu vcore and get this same value after sleep mode. System just back to auto voltage after sleep ignoring my UEFI settings and auto voltage is enough for 3.7Ghz but not more. Thank you for your replies
