Putting together a build for a good friend of mine who does 4K video editing currently on his macbook. If he has intent to upgrade over the next five years, is 4x8 configuration recommended? Is certain RAM optimal for Threadripper? He does not care for RGB. Plans are to get a MSI x399 Pro Carbon for a motherboard. Thanks in advance.
