I configured my CPU’s Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) Curve Optimizer with the following settings:
CCD: -25
CCD1: -20
PBO Limits: Set by motherboard
Scalar: Auto
Boost Override: +200
During a Cinebench benchmark under 100% workload, the CPU voltage stabilized at 1.105V.
However, after the benchmark (when CPU load dropped to 5–15% per core), the voltage fluctuated between 1.2–1.4V.
Why does the voltage vary significantly at low workloads (near-idle conditions), even though the Curve Optimizer is configured for undervolting? And is it safe condition for long-term? Thanks
