Hello beautiful community, i come to you with one question that sometimes keeps me up at night.
I have
AMD Rysen 7 7800 X3D CPU
B650 Gaming XAX v2 motherboard
I have read about some cases where the Rysen 7 series has some problems with literally burning up. I have seen on reddit photos with burned CPUs and destroyed contacts because of the faulty voltage (or so they said.)
On top of that, i also have a small odor problem with my PC (now that could be because it's new and it takes some time for the plastics to stop stinking)
These two things combined make me keep thinking that something is wrong with my CPU and i would like to ask you guys if that is really the case.
The temps do not exceed 60 - 65 degrees C while gaming and in lots of games i get even lower. On cinebench i get around 75 - 77 degrees C .
Voltages. This is where i'm most curious, are my voltages ok, are they bad should i undervolt?
my BIOS version is F3 from 1/10/2024
in BIOS i see that my AGESA version is 1.1.0.1 and the CPU shows 5.17 volts.
Also what signs should i look for when CPU is getting burned?
