Hello everyone, it will be my first purchase of an AMD processor and I am looking for a suitable ram for this processor and to verify the compatibility with the motherboard (without problems) but these models do not appear on the AMD page.
From corsair CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 a model of (2x16gb) on the page there is one but it is (4x8gb) CMK32GX4M4Z3200C16By
team group VULCAN Z DDR4 is not listed.
By kingston KF432C16BBK2/32 compatible
By g-skill I have this model F4-3200C16D-32GTZRX compatible
1.- it affects if Change the corsair model from (4x8gb) to (2x16gb)?
2. Which of the 3 brands do you think I should buy?
Check if the memory is on the QVL, browse online forums and watch videos about the board you are using.
Gather as much info as you can. Every feedback is good feedback.
Try to avoid 4x sticks, its best 2x16 than 4x8.
G.Skill is a safe bet in my opinion. On the AM4, try to get the Samsung B-Die.
Hello, thanks in the QVL all the rams that I mentioned plus other brands like t-force or corsair, but only the 2 that I mention both kingston and g-skill are listed on the AMD page I don't know what the difference is in the QVL with AMD's
From g_skill, I can only get this model on amazon or newegg, there isn't one with a b-die, what will it be like?
and by kingston there is also this model but they are Hynix
From corsair I only get 4 modules and not 2, does that affect?
on the other hand, I just want a ram with xmp at 3200 no, I'm going to do manual overvlock
Are you checking it in the board manufacturer QVL right?
Hello yes, check the qvl of msi and the manufacturers of the ram by msi both corsair (CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 ver5.39) (2x16gb) is compatible but it is not listed on the AMD website.
kingston KF432C16BBK2/32 (2x16gb) compatible and listed on msi, AMD and Kingston QVL
g-skill F4-3200C16D-32GTZRX appears compatible here on amd and on the g-skill page but not on the msi page. (I already contacted them).
My question is why it appears compatible here and not compatible in the msi QVL and vice versa?
