I recently bought 5700x and I was planning to run static 4.7 GHz all core OC. From the testing I have done it was not practical at all. So I did some tweaking and I have AVX2 stable CO settings now with 4450 MHz Prime95 AVX2 / 4650 MHz full render load no AVX / 4750 - 4850 MHz multi core low loads.
However, CPU doesn't seem to be wanting to push single core any further. I am using this setting that gives +200 MHz and CO is -10 I believe. MSI board LLC4 to give higher voltage on full load which results in higher clocks.
In short, I can only change scalar now, but that will only give it more voltage without really increasing clocks. Any suggestions on pushing to 5 GHz without just throwing voltage at it?
