I recently installed the 3950X and was wondering if the posted temps during idle are normal (spikes anywhere from 38C to 52C) with an ambient temp of 25C. Currently, the cpu is at 3.5GHz with core cpu volts of 1.488. Is that normal?
Note: I have yet to set up the Ryzen power options.
Config:
CPU: Ryzen 9 3950X
Motherboard: MSI MEG x570
GPU: EVGA RTX 2080
RAM: 32GB 3600MHz
AIO: Corsair H100i

Update: I have set the power options to Balanced mode. Still getting the same temp readings.
