Pretty much exactly what the title asks. I already ordered an ASrock Fatal1ty x470 motherboard before x570 motherboards were announced (literally coincidentally the day before). Would it be worth returning the x470 motherboard back to newegg and waiting for the x570 motherboards to get released? I am very torn, as I really do not know how much more the motherboard could improve considering x370 to x470 wasn't a major transition from what I found online (and I have done a LOT of research). Additionally, from what I understand, PCIe 4.0 will not even be supported by GPUs for a year or two anyways, right?
I was planning on picking up the Ryzen 3600x when it comes out as well.
Getting back to the topic at hand, I know as GPUs age, they eventually become incompatible with the motherboards. Is it possible it will not be compatible? I recently upgraded to a 580 a few weeks ago, but still need to rebuild from a new motherboard.
Bear with me, my mind wanders as I ask a question.
