That really depends on your resolution and refresh rate goals. I game at 1440p and get near 60FPS in most all AAA titles. This is good enough for me. Others would not be happy unless their frames are well above 60. Those with 100-144hz monitors especially would not be happy.
So really it depends on what monitor you are feeding and how much money you want to spend. I personally think the RX 580 is still the best bang for your buck solution out there. Either of those cards will require some tinkering to get stable.
Also know that PUBG is notoriously and horribly optimized as a game engine. It has a lot of glitches regardless if you have AMD or Nvidia. I play on both. So don't ever expect a problem free environment in that game.
