Weird temperature reading

Me and my friend both have an RX6600XT
For some reason both of our cards' hotspot temperatures are the same as gpu temp.
Any clue?

What's it look like under load? It's not unusual for both temps to be similar when idle or under light load. My 6700XT runs with hotspot temp being only 2-4 degrees higher than GPU under very light load and that stuff can really vary between manufacturers (due to different cooler design). Unless your GPU temps go as high as the hotsopt under heavy load (games or so on) I wouldn't worry.
