Hi.
Hopefully this shows the juddering when moving headset. Notice the middle horizontal line jittering, as well as the surrounding box. No application running, just moving headset around. Not a problem as such, but hopefully an indication of what might be affecting game performance elsewhere.

ryzen 3600x, 7900xtx, hp reverb g2, 23.7.1 AMD drivers
terrible video captured on phone
I have same issue, even with motion smoothing disabled.
@Matt_AMD fyi the above was with a driver only install, and would be good if you could also pass on to developers .
@Matt_AMD How do I raise this as a bug report, rather than an observation ?
Hey I noticed that this kinda helped with this - for me atleast: https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/7900-xtx-vr-latency-issue-not-the-known-performance-issue/m-p/...
Refer to the reddit post he mentions, it explains how to adjust - try hitting the button 7-9 times and test again.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. For me it did not fix this, though.
Have kept the setting as 8 and see if improves other aspects.
Anyone know what ‘found bad mirror window setting’ means in the vrcompositor.txt log file ? Just out of interest in case it is something to look into ?
With 23.9.3 and steam vr 2.x this appears to have fixed it for me. Thanks developers !
posted too soon. Still in steam VR with no game running, but in some games doesn’t shimmer.
