Strange RX 6800 XT issue

I have a XFX MERC 319 RX 6800 XT, and I'm having an issue where the GPU LEDs intermittently turn on and off while the GPU isn't displaying a signal. This by itself wouldn't bother me too much, but when this happens it wakes up the monitor, which then immediately displays no signal and goes back to sleep. Sometimes this will happen a few times in 5 minutes, other times once or twice in a few hours. As soon as I start using the computer, the GPU lights up like normal (if it wasn't lit up at the time), and the card functions normally with no issues.

Admittedly, I did start noticing this happen around the same time as I updated to the Adrenalin 23.2.1 driver. I've since used DDU and installed the latest driver, but the problem persists. I haven't tried rolling back to the previous driver yet, but I figured I would check here to see in anyone had any similar issue or further insight on the issue.

It's possible that the issue you're experiencing could be related to the driver update, as you mentioned. Rolling back to the previous driver may be a good idea to see if that resolves the issue. You could also try a clean install of the latest driver to see if that helps. Another possibility is that there could be a problem with the GPU itself. It's possible that there's a loose connection or a fault with the LEDs on the card. You could try re-seating the card in the PCIe slot to ensure that it's properly connected, and check for any visible damage or issues with the card.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I rolled back to the previous driver before the issue started occurring (Adrenalin 22.11.2), and the issue seems to have been resolved. I know that should have been my first step when troubleshooting, but I was hoping that perhaps someone had a similar issue and found a resolution besides rolling back the driver, because obviously that is not an ideal situation.
