Spotify messing with adrenaline game detection

One thing i have noticed on 24.12.1, i dont know if previous drivers had this issue, but while having Spotify open, if i open any game, the adrenaline app just does not see it run and doesn't apply any custom profiles i have for that game. If spotify is off and i run a game, it works just fine. I tried turning off Hardware acceleration in spotify, but nothing changes. Spotify isn't being detected as a game either.  It doesnt show up on game list and doesnt record the window with instant replay. Tried reinstalling spotify and the drivers. No luck.

Hi,

i have the same Problem.

If i run only COD with my Settings in the Adrenalin App it is all fine.

But if i start spotify and end the game, adrenalin have a new gameprofile for cod but with the wrong exe.

i think the detection in this driver make problems.

Have anyone a solution for this Problem?

If Spotify is interfering with your adrenaline game detection, it could be due to how Spotify manages audio streams or interacts with your device’s system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Close Spotify During Gameplay: Ensure Spotify is completely closed or paused when playing adrenaline-heavy games to minimize interference.

Check App Permissions: Review Spotify's permissions on your device to see if it has unnecessary access to system functions that could affect game performance.

Update Spotify and the Game: Ensure both apps are running their latest versions to avoid compatibility issues.

Use Game Mode/Focus Mode: Enable your device’s Game Mode (if available), which can prioritize game performance and limit interruptions from background apps like Spotify.

Switch Audio Output: Use a different audio output for the game (e.g., wired headphones or Bluetooth) to separate it from Spotify’s stream.

Contact Support: If the issue persists, reach out to Spotify support or the game developer to report the compatibility problem.
