Yo!! i think i figured out what maybe made my games look different!
you must specify the renderer precisely and by version
and you need to allocate monster high bit depth like spam number keys till your fingers get tired to your AMD GPU and CPU and RAM and PCI express BUS and whatever else.. and importantly TO THE RENDERER and each of the aspects like lighting or textures or whatever
and it may have been ProRender4.0 Renderer may have somehow worked with vulkan or a bunch of other renderers all at once.. or it may have been me tried to install blender and materials libraries and hydra renderer?
anyway you can set Prorender to Path Traced Reality Render type and it looks quite good!
but it depends on the 3d software they used and plugins if the materials and renderer and stuff will work with that game
maybe try get a few different pro render plugins for 3dsmax and blender and maya and houdini or whatever see if it does the trick
you might then see a little of what i saw if you could some how get all the renderers features going all at once like several diff kinds of variable rate shaders and so on
the problem is not a single retard **bleep** game dev or the OS has a OS installed renderer selection drop down list
or link to official homepage for download
its all sketchy fake git hub **bleep**.. or 90's DOS stuff hidden in the game engine like Directx11 only till the end of time!
or try DX12 .. whats that why no dx12.5 when you run windows 11? because we're criminal retard **bleep**s, it'd be hooked into the OS if we werent and let you select it in toggle check box or drop down list and suggest download from the main website for latest version
each renderer has different quality and different features or functions.. sometimes very similar and maybe double up.. i think before i had a few renderers going all at once.. one time i tried install AMD linux drivers as the OS win 11 has WLS or whatever its called WSL?
when i thought my OS drivers were fake
i thought test if linux ones work?
the linux ones maybe override or something? not too sure
or could be diff between pro driver and normal one.. or maybe i was download lisa su edition 5700xt driver or 6700xt driver by mistake or just to test out see if it works? that could have global override the materials and stuff. made it umm actually work for once? who knows? i tried a bunch of stuff to try and get my vastly monstrously superior hardware to begin to work for once in history and it kinda did for a bit which was super exciting fun time. But maybe whenever i tried to request a function of a certaion renderer it swapped back!
But yeah like when you play back a movie you need Direct3d renderer.. or your AMD GPU hardware cant function at all. you maybe need to tell the app or game to select that video renderer then tell the software to copy the file into your GPU in the right method this is called Hardware passthrough exclusive mode via many methods such as ASIO or WASAPI for audio and video or it could be done via direct transfer. Its a hardware device so your hardware does the job. But like cheapest and fakest of devices like apple products and nvidia and intel products they dont exactly have all the hardware and will largely use software to fake it with far cheaper simpler generic devices.. or use the same generic via chip that like a $80 android tablet would to play back youtube VP9 and HEVC 4k 10bit HDR video with no artifacts or errors. But your $600AUD AMD dedicated graphics card many times more powerful than those devices has never been used because the Apps and games dont have a "select display renderer option" Sometimes you can select from VULKAN or DX12.5ultimate or whatever.. but only what retard game devs let you select like DX11 or DX12.. but there should be a windows feature function that says something like display.renderer ./ or whatever some sort of method of spawning a drop down list or check box toggle to display the ones YOUR operating system has available to it and let you switch between those. And the game could specify a preferred one as they may have put effort into optimizing certain features of that renderer a little more specifically like Variable Shading or whatever.
Anyway when I watch anime or youtube or play a video file in a media player I must edit my config.ini to Direct3d12.5 renderer=true or On or Default or whatever. Then when i play a game i must manually type it in. I believe before somehow I was defaulting to some crazy awesome renderer and everything was ultra impressive. It also doesnt auto detect hardware device bit depth and use whats available. Like a stereo 16bit sound card capable of 32bit output 7.1 surround but its not set by default. The game and app and OS MUST have these features available to USE your computer or its faking it with software intel and nvidia and apple style disgusting. Anyway. You cant exactly have them all on at once.. or maybe i did or something? My games look a lot better than all of them using prorender4.0 i believe. So you type the word Renderer after the one you plan to use for what you plan to run in your config.ini file because the OS developers and game developers are ass hats accepting bribes most likely to force people to stick with 16bit DOS crap when my game graphics look better the longer the bit depth values i specify for pro render 4.0 path traced reality or whatever and my CPU and GPU and memory and PCI express and every aspect of my PC.
unless i had fake nvidia and intel hardware which DOESNT have the bit depth and is still like 80's and 90's junk underneath the packaging there'd be no reason not to be using all my available bit depth. You maybe think theres little to no difference but its actually quite massive.. try disabling all the renderers and using default or whatever. then crank all the bit depth up with a great AMD system thread ripper and 6900xt and samsung Bdie RAM and everything with the bit depth maxxed out biggest numbers you've ever pretended to have even imagined typing in your life. And watch it become beautiful and amazing.
On my system Im still seeing occasional moire pattern screen door type thing on this ghost? whats causing this?
I reset EVERYTHING i could to defaults. Before I could type in displayresolution and renderer resolution and desktop resolution and other such commands every resolution variant i could think of and the word resolution = and enter 32k or 16k or whatever and my game would slow down a fair bit and suuuuper crisp up. but then metal floors in borderlands 3 looked like they'd been urinated on in the distance? and lighting instead of being flood of diffused wall of light became grainy 4 or 5 individual beams when reflected on floors or surfaces? how to fix?
in my genshin the purple electro looks sorta eletric i guess? its cool. but the umm effects seem LARGER than i remember? im fine with it. but her attack sparkles can almost completely obscure the battlefield? like all of the special effects i aint even mad though. see the purple eye above her head.. for the first time ever looks like the game does in youtuber streams. But I got it working and looking WORLDS better before but then 5 minutes later it no longer looks great at all or something. and i try fix it back but keeps changing.
See the lightings normally like this or way better?
But it will often be visibly narrow beams you can count. hate when that happens.
Im not sure if renderer=true or renderer=default have some differences..
but standing in water gets entire body wet somehow when only wet to ankles.. but then the candles from scythe would reflect off entire body? huh? glowy wet girl.
See the better lighting in my game when i walk around.. sometimes it switches off and goes fake RTX nvidia bull**bleep**
becomes 5 beams or something.. i dont have an RTX card.
though i typed in hardwareacceleratedray tracing anyway
feel free to experiment. Im not sure whats wrong with my OS. before everything was awesome! typing in stuff made the everything better.. but now.. its a sometimes almost never thing.
the above graphics is about as good as i can game in. it doesnt look super impressive anymore i have no clue why my genshin game world which looked fantastic sparkles wonderland wonderful became more unimpressive suddenly.
This is my config.ini in my mydocs folder win11

So if anybody could figure out how to fix stuff up? why are they so different? and why when true worked awesome before its **bleep** now? how to turn on ALL the renderers always? or use all features from all of them? i dunno my game was uber great fantastic infinitequality before.. now its just "OOooh! you managed to toggle things on and use the correct display renderer which nobody on earth has ever done before for reasons unknown to mankind that dont involve criminal **bleep**gots and fake renderers provided by game devs instead of letting you select the ones in your OS"
