Hey guys,
yesterday i successfully upgraded my RTX 3060 to a RX 9070 XT (SAPPHIRE PURE).
After a few rounds in Control, which looked really good on high settings with raytracing,
I wanted to watch some Youtube videos on my second monitor.
And here is the problem, every time I duplicate or expand the display, the driver gets a timeout and stops working.
Sometimes a reboot fixes the driver, sometimes I have to remove the driver with DDU and reinstall it, AMD repair install does not work either.
What I have done so far:
- clean install (DDU) with the latest GPU driver
- bios update
- chipset update
- done some windows updates
- disabled windows updates for drivers
- disabled MPO
And i have tested each monitor individually on each hdmi input to rule out faulty cables or hdmi inputs, individually everything works fine.
So far nothing has worked, does anyone else have a solution?
