Recently noticing my PC suddenly going to 100% GPU usage and plateauing, resulting in 3fps both in-game and on desktop. Sometimes it fixes itself momentarily, but remains unstable until inevitably requiring a PC restart. My PC is prebuilt, I've had it for three years and I've only started to experiencing this issue for the past week, aside from this its been fine. If anyone is able to help me identify a cause or find a solution, that would be much appreciated. This issue has occurred in both GPU intensive and non-intensive games. Additionally, I keep my drivers up to date.
To provide an example the picture below depicts an instance of this, I was playing VALORANT and was monitoring my specs on my second monitor. I noticed a sudden drop in the GPU and seconds later a spike to 100%, resulting in the aforementioned issue.
