Hello I have a RX 580, it is only a couple of months old. The fans seem to be not working the temps are going to 90 celcius. I have tried using msi afterburner and amd software to turn them on manually. they were running for a while earlier for the first time in weeks, but then i started up a game and they shut off. now neither afterburner or amd software will turn them on.

The fans could be on its way. If you want to keep them i would try a new shroud.

You could also try flash it with the latest bios.

It sounds like the fans are failing. The RX580 is an older card, so it'd make sense that the lubricant in the fans has dried out.

If you have warranty support I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer. If that's not an option then you can always buy replacement fans and swap them out. It's usually not too difficult.
