RX 580 does not detect second monitor
I have bought the new GPU half a year ago and the original post was not solved. It still does not detect the monitor, windows doesn't, nor the autodetect button on the monitor. Monitor is working fine, and some suggested it might be an issue with the adapter; I've already switched for another and the problem persists.
I use the dual monitor setup for streaming and it's been a pain in the ass using the phone as a manager, I'd very much like to go back to the second monitor.
Any suggestions?
Specs: RX 580 8GB OC

It is DVI (female) to DP (male). Uhm... I can't connect any other way but that one, I think?
Monitor's cable's DVI, DP on the GPU.

Would you happen to have another device that can use that adapter? Most adapters I've owned never lasted long. I would test to make sure if it works on another GPU/laptop first to see if it still functions.
And if possible, maybe see if it'll work on another DVI monitor.
