I have an ASUS RX 570 Expedition 4G which seems to work fine - it boots fine, desktop works fine, browsing internet is fine, playing vids on Youtube is fine. It even plays simple 2D games, e.g. Among Us. But when I try to launch a 3D game (Kerbal Space Program, Valheim, Planet Zoo, etc.) it won't do it. I get the loading screen and then the game crashes. Sometimes get a Windows 10 error message saying the game crashed. The same games launch fine when using the integrated graphics of the processor (Ryzen 3200G).
It exhibits the same behaviour on two different computers (both running Win 10). On one computer I had installed and downloaded the latest driver (well, I let the Radeon software install the latest driver), on the other, I just let Win 10 find the driver. No difference at all...
I have replaced the thermal paste to no avail, but other than that I have no idea what could be causing the problem.
If anyone has any idea what the problem might be, I would be grateful for their help.
