Radeon Vega 10 worse than Radeon Vega 8 ?
I heard that the perfomance of the Radeon Vega 10 is worse than Radeon Vega 8 because of some cooling problems.
I already bought my laptop now with the Radeon Vega 10.
I really thought this one was better than the Vega 8... What should I do now? Is there anything I can do? Maybe change some settings? I want to mainly use this laptop for gaming.
Should I cancel my laptop purchase? I don't know...
It also has a Ryzen 7 2700U CPU and a 8 GB DDR4 RAM.

if you are using it for gaming you WILL need a dedicated graphic card, with proper cooling, the ryzen 7 should be better than the 5.
the RX560X is relatively new and is on par with a 1050 from nvidia, just need better driver support

Yes, the performance will depend on the TDP limit and cooling capacity, as well as dual vs single channel RAM, thus you should check on a per-laptop basis as to which is the best.
A big issue with 8 vs 10 though, is the desktop 65W 2200G also has the vega 8, alongside often faster RAM. So most of the online comparisons can be extremely skewed...
