Dear friends,
As you were able to help me out last time, I am writing you again. Around this time last year I built my baby, and while it had some growing pains at first, it functioned without issue until today, in the middle of a session of Frostpunk, it decided to refuse further co-operation with its graphics card. I am not sure what ails her, so I present you with some of the symptoms I have observed.
1. It threw some messages amounting to "the PCI bus has changed, you need to reboot". I have since rebooted the machine many times, to no avail.
2. I can see the graphics card in the device manager, but when I try to force Windows 10 to use the appropriate video card for the appropriate program, it hits me with this gem.
3. I have tried updating everything I can think of: the drivers, Windows 10, even flashed the BIOS.
I can't for the life of me imagine why in the middle of operations Windows would suddenly be unable to continue operating with the graphics card. If anyone has any insights, please share them. I am stumped.
