Hello,
i've bought this PC 6 month ago and couldn't resolve this problem on my own.
Some games are prone to crashing pretty fast (GTA V, World of Warcraft, several unreal engine games i tried) others run most of the time(Destiny 2crashes rarely(can play 0-5hours without problems) with a 'broccoli' error, thats the 'device being lost' equivalent of the destiny engine.)
I can't pinpoint this problem.
My System:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6x 3.60GHz
RAM32GB (2x 16GB) Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3200 CL16
CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH Edition Tower
GPU: 8GB Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G, GDDR6
SSD: 2000GB Crucial MX500 2.5
Mainboard: ASRock B550 PHANTOM GAMING 4/AC AM4
PSU: Seasonic FOCUS GX-550 80PLUS
Soundcard: ASUS ROG Xonar Phoebus
Some of the things i allready tried:
-Reinstalled windows
-downgraded drivers / reinstalled them with DDU
-reseated all cables in my PC
-undervolting / underclocking GPU
-XMP setting lowered (from 3200)
-benchmarks (for example: furmark to stresstest without any errors popping up)
-changed pc power plan
-updated bios and chipset drivers
-changed TdrDelay because it helped some, not me though
The only thing i found online that i couldn't test was changing my PSU. Apparently 'device being lost' errors relate to too weak PSUs powering them but as far as i know my PSU should suffice.
Thanks in advance for any hint or tip
