Quake Champions Resolution Scale

When I had a GeForce 980Ti and 1080p display, Quake Champions video settings Auto Detect gave me Ultra settings at 100% Resolution Scale. Now on new PC with Radeon RX 6950 XT and 1440p display it suggests 75% Resolution Scale. I've run it at 100% scale but why does it think I need a lower resolution? If using 1920x1080 in-game it does suggest 100% Resolution Scale. Surely the RX 6950 XT can handle Quake Champions at 1440p with full resolution and Ultra settings?

There goes the bottleneck theory.

I saw these interesting blogs

Have you tried this---adjusting in AMD Adrenaline? I saw someone stated this is the best setting for the game...

I think that's a screenshot from my old settings I posted here. Since then I turned off OpenGL Tipple Buffering since QC doesn't use that.

I have the current newest drivers yeah. I did just try out the Super Resolution with game at 1920x1080 and letting Adrenalin upscale to my display 2560x1440 resolution. I have everything on Ultra settings, including Gore, Bloom, and Flares. I can't tell a visual difference and getting 130 FPS in the performance results. Bare in mind the QC game FPS is set to 163 (2 under 165Hz) and the menu is set to 120 default so it's really the average time between the two while waiting up to 3 minutes for a 10 minute game match. No sense to run the GPU hotter in the menu and chat screens. Depending on the map and gameplay action I have had it as high as 140-150 FPS in Adrenaline results. In game I have QC show a FPS counter and it's always about maxed out.

At the moment here is my AMD Adrenalin settings for Quake Champions. I'm trying out Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) with the game set at 1920x1080 and scaled up to my display resolution of 2560x1440 using tyhe AMD drivers. I also have Framerate Target Control enabled with Max FPS set to 165. I'm getting 138 FPS in the map Deep Embrace so far. I was getting at without RSR but also fluctuating lower sometimes too. I'll test for a day or two and see if this is more stable and reliable. All QC video settings on Ultra, Bloom, Flares, Gore. System specs: Intel i7-12700KF, G.Skill 2x16GB RipJaws V 3200Mhz RAM, AMD RX 6950 XT 16GB, WD_Black 1TB NVMe SSD.
