PCIe x16 running at x8 instead - any solutions?

In the AMD Radeon Software, the GPU is set at PCIe x8 but it's inserted into the PCIe x16 slot. Is there any correlation with the Ryzen 7 2700x or can I set it up through BIOS or any other way? My motherboard is Aorus B450 Pro.

Thank you.

Which GPU? Does your motherboard cut the PCIe bandwidth if other slots or connectors are in use? Is your BIOS set to use PCIE x16_1 at x16 Generation 3.0?

GPU Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB OC

Probably it does but I don't use any other slots for GPU and I also don't use any M.2

I found PCIe settings in BIOS and it's set on auto, I have other options which are Gen1 Gen2 Gen4 Gen4

EDIT: My GPU's card bus is PCIe 4.0 but my motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0. Could that have any correlation?

The 5500XT (Navi 14) only has 8 PCIe lanes, so it is normal that it is running at x8.

I didn't know that, thank you for the answer.

Or are you running an M.2 SSD? depending on the slot,It may also cut it down to X8

I don't have an M.2 SSD in my computer, thank you for the possibility though.
