PCI x16 board

I saw this youtube video where the youtuber ordered this PCI x16 board with 8 PCI x16 slots you just plug right into your computer using a cable and two pci cards. Can you use multiple graphics cards on one of these, do they need crossfire bridge cables to cooperate (they are technically going through one pci slot), and will they vram stack cause they are going through one pci slot?

Those people are mining cryptocurrency, not gaming, and not using Crossfire.

But could you, though use this to VRAM stack and play games? That is the question. I figured that this was mainly for crypto mining, but that is long dead.

No, Crossfire isn't supported on more than 4 GPUs, though realistically you're not going to get any performance benefit with more than 2 since developers handle multiple GPU coding in DX12 and Vulkan and nVidia doesn't support SLI on more than 2 GPUs.
