new GPU won't display

I recently bought a Radeon RX 570 8 GB for my computer. When I put it in, there was no display. I tested the card on a different computer and it worked perfectly, so I think it might be a compatibility issue. Can anyone help me?

Specs:

Operating System
    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU
    Intel Core i5 3450 @ 3.10GHz

RAM
    8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3

Motherboard
    Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z77-D3H

Is it displaying anything before Windows loads. Like the bios boot information?

Are you using a graphics port on the card itself no on the motherboard?

If it is no on both of those I would think you maybe have a bad PCIe slot on your board. If you have a second slot try that.

You should also verify that your motherboard is running the latest bios and reset to default values.

Nothing is displayed at all.

I am using the HDMI port on the card itself.

I can use my old graphics card fine though, so I don't think the PCIe slot is broken.

I heard about the possibility of the BIOS being the problem, but I heard updating it is risky, so I wanted to rule out any other possibility first.

I forgot to say that my PSU is a 500W Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus.
