Whenever I try to watch netflix content using HEVC codec extensions eg 4k resolution and/or HDR, I am greeted with a artefacted mess.
My DP 1.4 cable Monitor and GPU are all HDCP2.2 compliant I have tried using the two versions of the HEVC extensions from microsoft store (standard $1.50 NZD) and "from the device manufacturer" My windows 11 is completely up to date, all my drivers are up to date. I've tried using different cables including HDMI ones. I'm using two seperate cables from PSU to GPU, Ive tried reinstalling windows and starting from scratch. I'm currently at a loss of what to do now. I dont get any of these artefacts when I view HEVC, AV1, or VP9 content in any other media players or browsers, no artefacts in my games.
Please help, I just bought and assembled this Rig and I'd hate to find out I should've gone with team green or blue for such a core task I had planned for my new gaming/media PC.
