Need Help/Tutorial Using Virtual Super Resolution (VSR) or Higher Resolutions Than Native.

As title says, I can't seem to use VSR or enable a display resolution higher than native. I would like to play in 4K on my 1080p TV which was possible with my previous Nvidia cards.

After enabling VSR I'm told to simply select a higher resolution than native. No such option exists either in games or Windows.

I tried creating a resolution in AMD Software Adrenaline. 3840x2160, tried with all timing presets, spits out a "not compatible" error. My Nvidia cards could do it, so I know this is a lie.

I tried forcing resolutions with CRU and SRE. Doesn't work either.

Can somebody please explain what even is going on here. Thank you.

For me it works just fine using 1080p monitor.

I just select AMD Software -> Settings -> Display -> Virtual Super Resolution -> Enabled

I see higher than 1080p resolutions in Windows and in games also. For some games you have to use higher resolution like 3840x2160 in Windows to be able to use more than 1080p but most games let you select all available resolutions in game. If it doesn't work for you try clearing all cru monitors, uninstall monitor driver of you display in device manager and try reinstall drivers maybe that will fix it.

EDIT: Also make sure you have the right monitor/TV selected in AMD Software -> Settings -> Display before making changes!
