Hello all,

Currently, I have a setup of 1 PC + 3 monitors. I’m using ASTER to create a virtual desktop to enable 2 users to simultaneously working on my PC.
Here is the setup

Graphic Card	XFX HD 5770 1GB GDDR5
Monitor 1 (M1)	Dell UltraSharp 24” Monitor: U2412M	1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz
Monitor 2 (M2)	Samsung SyncMaster P2350 23"	1920 x 1080
Monitor 3 (M3)	HP N270 27”	1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz
Power Supply	Corsair 750W HX

Since graphic card can only generate output to 2 different display at a time, I link M1 and M2 using ATI Radeon Eyefinity.
So USER A will be using M1 and M2 (paired with Eyefinity), and USER B will be using M3.
But the problem with Eyefinity is that, it will force the lowest resolution of the paired monitor as the baseline, in which my M1 is force to use 1920 x 1080, which causes distortion in height.
I prefer M3 as a standalone monitor, since it has the largest dimension, so I can watch movies comfortably.

So I bought HD 5670 to be paired.
After hardware and driver installation, my Windows 10 crashed on boot up, got BSOD.
Then I did several testing to determine what cause the crash.

Here are what I have tested

Is there anything I can do to make it works?

Probably no, there is nothing to do. Because both graphics cards have different core speeds and different memory bandwidth values. Obviously, the display driver that creates problems for single graphics cards and multi-monitor installations cannot prevent this kind of system from crashing.

If I were to get another graphic card which can works together with my HD

5770, aside from HD 5770 itself, what type should I use?

I would like a graphic card that does not require external power.

Not being able to use Crossfire is fine with me.

I may be misunderstanding you. You want to use 2 GPUs. So the single GPU does not provide 3 monitors output for you. I recommend choosing a single GPU that provides support for your (all) monitors. Two same GPUs probably not provide same display outputs without CrossFire.

If here is someone with CrossFire experience, please share their experiences ... I can't comment.

Good news guys. I managed to install both graphic cards, and the outputs are displayed properly to 3 monitors.

Here's how I did it:

1. I removed HD 5670 from motherboard
2. I uninstalled the graphic drivers for HD 5770 and HD 5670 using Guru3D.com DDU from SAFE MODE
3. I reinstall HD 5670 to the motherboard
4. Then I booted up Windows, let it reinstalled the drivers by itself
5. I found out that HD 5670 is using proper graphic driver, which is AMD Radeon HD 5670.
6. Meanwhile, for HD 5770, Windows installed AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series graphic driver, rather than my previous AMD Radeon HD 5570 driver.
7. Not sure if that's the real solution, but it works for me
