Computer Specs: Ryzen 5 1600, RX 580, ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F (mobo), PowerSpec 650W PSU
Displays: (Alienware) Dell AW2518HF, some much older Acer monitor.
Ever so often upon restarting my pc my primary monitor (the Dell) will be mirrored onto my 2nd (Acer), despite the fact that I keep both monitors in the "Extended" mode. Furthermore, when I go to my display settings, my computer will only recognize the Dell monitor and will limit its refresh rate to 64hz (its a 240hz monitor). The 2nd monitor is also fuzzy-- a distorted mirror of the first monitor. See attached images.
My go-to solution has been to system restore to a previous build, and in the past this strategy has worked fine. However, the most recent time this happened there were no restore points, and I had to wipe my drive and start again. After doing so, I redownloaded graphics drivers and Adrenalin, and I believed that this fixed the problem. But, this issue has occurred again.
If anyone has any guidance it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
