Memory overclock 7900 GRE on linux
I found online that windows drivers permit memory overclocking for 7900 GRE up to 3000 MHz. However when I check the same for linux in the driver file pp_od_clk_voltage, the max memory frequency is 1158 MHz (x2 = 2316 MHz). Anyway to overcome this limit on Linux?

found the solution. Installed amd rocm drivers on linux. The amdgpu kernel module limits the extent of overclock. Installing amd rocm software amended the situation.
The pp_od_clk_voltage file shows the following:
OD_RANGE:
SCLK: 500Mhz 2803Mhz
MCLK: 97Mhz 1500Mhz
VDDGFX_OFFSET: -350mv 0mv
It allows shader clock to reach 2803 MHz and Memory Clock to 1500 MHz (x2 DDR = 3000 MHz).

You might have mistaken the graphics clock up to 3000 OC, a memory clock from 2250 to 3000 i would doubt?
