When FreeSync is enabled some applications such as browsers and steam use FreeSync even though they shouldn't causing stuttering and flickering on Oled displays. I can add the game and turn off FreeSync individually per app but this needs to be done for every app that has issues with FreeSync. Disabling FreeSync globally will not allow FreeSync to turn on even when turning on in game profile settings.
Is it possible to leave FreeSync enabled in global settings but have applications default to FreeSync off?
