Monitor: LG 29UM58-P ultrawide Driver version: 1.0.0.0 Driver date: 2015-08-26 with DP to HDMI adapter
OS: Win 10
Altough I tried updating all the drivers I can't set the resolution to 2560x1080 because there is no such an option at the display settings. When I'm trying to update the driver of the monitor by clicking on the Update driver button at the monitor properties it says "The best drivers for your device are already installed". I saw that there is some new drivers at the support page of LG for this monitor, i've tried them all but when I run setup it does nothing but shows a popup with one line: "Driver installation success". No progress bar no nothing. And when I check again the driver of the monitor at the monitor properties I see that the driver is still 1.0.0.0. It does not get updated. It just works fine on Ubuntu, without any settings required...
