having both integrated and discreet graphics enabled sometimes causes system freeze and crash

so i've been running into this problem where when having both my integrated amd Radeon graphics and my discreet graphics will freeze the computer until i boot into safe mode and disable integrated graphics, at other times i can have both on no problem, well tonight i went to open icue corsair software (which i use for my corsair void pro usb rgb headset) and was unable to open, well, i thought program install got corrupted so uninstalled with a required restart. nope as soon as it booted up, and upon login, frees and crashes, causing system file corruption to where i have to boot into safe mode, disable cpu integrated graphics and perform sfc and dism scan, then reboot to a normal startup.

thing is i haven't had this problem for months since a graphics driver update as it was working fine until tonight. can someone tell me what is going on as it was allowing me to have both graphics on and this has happened 3 times back and forth before.

Likely cause is the 5600G IGP is Vega based, and the RX 5500 is RDNA.

Have you tried using the combo driver? Link available on the driver release notes:
