I use sleep mode instead of power off.
I have two monitors, Dell S2721QS, connected to DP on RX 6700 XT a problem has been there for 2 years, no matter driver which is currently 23.8.1.
When I put the PC to sleep, it takes about a minute and the GPU sends a signal to the monitor, monitor wakes up to search for input and put itself on standby and this repeats every 1 or 2 or 4 minutes (kinda random).
