So I bought a XFX AMD Radeon RX580 8GB GPU back in February of 2024, and as of this post it's November and not even a year passed and I'm already having issues.
It has been hell trying to figure out what is causing this chaos but it all appears to be a Windows UWD App issue as it only occurs with any software from the Windows Store app. I could be playing Minecraft on the lowest settings the moment I open Apple Music UWP app GPU locks up crashes and forces me to force restart.
I have 2 other OSes on 2 different drives Windows 7 and Fedora Linux, neither of which seem to be experiencing these issues whatsoever.
This is very frustrating when you buy something brand new and you know it works and then not even a year passed and it suddenly starts having issues. This only seems to happen on Windows 10 and 11 but not 8.1 or older. So this tells me it's an OS issue not a hardware issue, which I could be wrong but I don't know what else to think.
