hello all. i just installed my brand new gpu it is a 7800 xt. I can't install gpu drivers. i have uninstalled and reinstalled amd software. i have done amd utility clean up. i have done ddu clean up. everytime i go to reinstall it tells me everytrhing was installed but gpu driver. it gives me codes 186 or sometimes other codeds saying the gpu driver is corrupted. i have a ryzen 5 7600x with a mobo of gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax and 32gb of ram and psu of 850 and running windows 11. ive done tons of research and cant get this brand new gpu to work. do i just have a bad gpu that was sent to me?
Hi, have you tried utility clean up through booting windows in Safe mode? Usually in normal mode, if certain files are in use by any application. It'll be left behind.
