FreeSync monitor not detecetd when connected to laptop

hey guys am in need of assistance here after long hours of searching for a solution well i have an hp laptop with amd cpu well the problem is i bought an acer 240y free sync monitor today and have been trying hours to activate free sync but when i open the amd softerware i donot see my monitor in display options but my nvidia picks up the monitor and i see there but not in my amd settings

How is your ACER 240Y monitor connected to your laptop? I do not see it in your screenshot.

Does the point is not showing in display options when am using the amd softer ware but am connected through hdmi cable if it is able to show through  amd softer i can use the free sync functionality

I didn't quite understand what you are referring to, but if an external monitor is not connected, the option will not be visible.

Yes i have an external monitor connected Acer 240y with free sync capability but is not appearing when i open amd  software settings  so i cant select it or enable v sync but the monitor is detected by my nvidia ghraphics but not amd graphics card i got graphics card amd and nvidia  

nvidia is gtx 1650

amd rx vega 10 graphics

Please be specific. How is your monitor connected? Please describe which output from laptop, cable/adapter and which HDMI input of the monitor is being used.

Well my monitor is connected to my laptop through hdmi-HDTV  cable 

connected to the hdmi 1 input
