I have a 165hz monitor with freesync but it causes flickering in games. But when I change default refresh rate to 60 on windows the flickering goes. Or if the game has the option, changing in-game refresh rate to 60 fixes the problem also. Disabling freesync also ends flickering. In demanding games I play around 35 to 60 fps on 2k but in some games I will want to use 60+ refresh rate.
What should I do? Is my solution CRU? If so, what minimum and maximum refresh rate should I choose?
I don't think the problem is related but I use the monitor as an external to my laptop.
