Hello
I have problem with my ASUS DUAL RX6700 XT graphic card drivers, it is constantly crushing after 1-2hour of gameplay.
so far I tried:
-Undervolted using amd adrenaline AI to 1175mV
-Using older vision of driver 22.5.1 as I remember
-Upgraded my motherboard from prime b450m-a to prime b550m-a
-Reinstalled windows 3 times
-Used windows 10 and windows 11
-Forced game to run in 30fps so temperature were under 55 constantly
-I send graphic card for guaranty and got information back that graphic card is working correctly for them
Nothing is giving me solution so far...
I have 3 types of crushes, depends on game I play:
-cyberpunk is crushing driver to desktop with with AMD timeout popup window
-baldurgate is crushing whole PC
-stellaris is freezing PC so I have to restart it by holding power button
My PC works perfectly fine when I change my GPU to old one RX 580.
Also I have been testing my GPU RX6700XT with "Unigine superposition benchmark" I run tests in 8k and I didn't had any stability issue test went perfectly fine and average fps was 30.
my PC spec:
Motherboard: Prime B550-m-a, BIOS 3202
PSU: 650W (required for this GPU by AMD/ASUS)
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
hard drive: SSD Samsung pci4.0 1TR
16GB RAM 2x8 DDR4 2400mhz
Newest chipset and drivers version available
I wanted to stick to AMD card because my pervious one was also AMD
But this mess is making me crazy, I cant just come after work and have fun because of some stupid driver issue, and since I heard that Nvidia is more stable with driver I think that I will go with them in future....but for now...I have this one sooo...
Card is working perfectly fine when it is not crushing, graphics looks nice, it is not lagging, no artifacts etc.....just this ******* crushing every 1-2 hours
Do you have any suggestion what I can do? or what is going on ?
As I told before I HAVE NO ISSUE WHEN I REAPLACE MY GPU TO MY OLD AMD RX 580, and wen I am trying to play on quality settings that rx580 was handling perfectly fine my rx6700xt is still crushing
(Please don't give me this stupid comment about upgrading PSU to 850W because if supplier is recommending 650W it should work on 650W and yes I have two separate cables from PSU to GPU)
