Hi, I have just bought an expensive system, yet disappointed with the GPU is giving me very poor FPS rates.
I have the ROC STRIX 570-F gaming board
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12gb
corsair vengeance rgb 3600 2 x 16gb ram (32gb)
1xM2 1tb boot win 10 pro
1xM2 4tb drive for storage
iCUE water cooling system
Monitor is 34" ultra wide 1440p
running on Adrenalin 21.3.2
ALL drivers are up-to-date
this pc has been configured for pure gaming
Yet on playing games and some of my older games, and on optimal settings im getting very poor FPS
This can range from 15fps up to 60fps The monitor and GPU is set to run at 144Hz
The CPU is running as it should, at max its running at 30% or lower max capacity
RAM is running at 25% (depending on how much ram is used on game settings)
yet the GPU card is running at 99% capacity, temp is between 40 to 60 deg c the card isnt over clocked and set at automatic and default on tuning settings.
on my old PC system, was an i7 3rd gen
geforce gtx 1060 6gb
and on an old sata drive, yet on same settings I was getting better performance than on this new system, yes it struggled with 1440p at an advrage of 30fps yet on 1080p well over 60fps.
How can I get this card to work as it should?
