Hello, I am getting the "
default radeon wattman settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure" error on my system. i have replaced the video card and am still getting the issue. I used DDU to completely remove all drivers and install fresh. windows is up to date. this is a new build.
Asus ROG Strix b450-f gaming motherboard.
AMD Ryzen 1700x CPU
G-Skill DDR4-3000 ram @ 32GB
Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 590 Special Edition GPU
650w power supply
Windows 10 64 bit 1903
I have watched various videos on this issue, made the changes that were suggested. read various articles on this page as well as others. Nothing seems to be fixing the issue. PC will randomly reset and once it comes back up i get the above notification. Even got it when Wattman was on factory defaults. Is there any solution that works that does not involve cutting back the stats of the card? The card works great otherwise but I really cant deal with this issue anymore. This is my last attempt at resolving before i switch back to Nvidia. Please help.
