Been searching online for some informaiton/assistance with this. Essentially I am running a RX 7900XTX and wanting to apply a custom resolution to my Alienware AW2723DF WQHD 1440p 240Hz monitor. Relevant specs are listed below
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE PRO SL 32GB (8GBx4 DIMMs)
GPU: AMD RX7900XTX Mercury Magnetic Air Gaming
I am using Display port for all my monitors and all are able to support 240Hz (the monitor in question I am able to overclock to 280Hz and it does work on my current Display Port cable.
The custom res I am aiming for on the monitor is 1440x1080 (screenshots attached for reference). The AMD adrenalin software can become quite confusing if you dont know the in depth details when creating a custom resolution. I have read online on various forums that its something to do with the G.Pixel Clock (kHz) bugging out when inputting values under the Resolution (Px) and Timing Display with your Custom resolution (in my case 1440x1080)
Any assistance or knowledge with this would be appreciated!
