If that is the only game you play the 144hz would be a good fit. You would probably have to dial down some of your graphics settings to hit it, but I think it is possible. Most people tune down the graphics to get a higher frame rate for a competitive edge. It will also depend on your CPU. What kind of processor do you have? and how much RAM and its speed? Other games that require more graphics power won't hit that number, but better to have a higher Hz monitor in case you upgrade your GPU down the road as well. No worries about the English either, this is a diverse worldwide community.
