blender to use openCL in blender [Radeon 6900xt]

Hi

I cant get blender to use my gpu acceleration at all ever since i switched out my 3090 for my 6900xt.

in the blender menu i had full nvidia cuda acceleration working when i had my 3090 but now since i got my 6900xt i cant get it working.

now i know your supposed to have pro drivers and a downgraded old kernel but i tried and my system is REALLY unstable trying go down the long path of using pro drivers

when i try to use old kernel and install pro drivers i get kernel panic and a unbootable pc until i uninstall the amd pro drivers so that's out the equation it seems.

can i get opencl working on open source ?(mesa drivers)

Found this Tech review of Blender 3.0 concerning OpenCL: https://techgage.com/article/blender-3-0-gpu-performance/

From above link:

What’s New In Blender 3.0?

In Blender 3.0, there’s a lot to love. This is the release that ushers in a completely overhauled Cycles render engine, dubbed during its development as Cycles X. This updated engine is completely compatible with the previous Cycles, and will improve performance on both CPUs and GPUs.

As we’ve also covered before, Blender 3.0 removes OpenCL rendering, which has led AMD to implement its HIP API so Radeon users won’t notice the change. Well… that assumes you’re at least using an RDNA (RX 5000) or RDNA2 (RX 6000) Radeon, as earlier models are not yet supported. Likewise, Linux support for HIP is also still in the works. If you want to give HIP a try, you will need to download the beta driver. Radeon Pro Enterprise 21.Q4 will officially add support, and we’d assume the next gaming driver will, as well.

NOTE: Since you didn't mention which Blender version you are using I am assuming you are using the latest version of Blender which is the 3.0 version.
