Black screen and crashes with new RX580

First off, specs:

CPU: i7 2600 (non-k)

Mobo: Acer IPISB-VR

RAM: 16GB DDR3 1333 MHz (originally 8GB, i'll explain)

PSU: EVGA 600BR

Storage: 240GB Corsair SSD, 2TB WD Green HDD

OS: Windows 10 x64 Home

I bought a RX 580 and I've had nothing but problems. I started to play Minecraft with friends and within 5 min it froze, gave me a black screen and wouldn't do anything until I reset my computer. This continued with every game I tested, SC2, Rainbow 6 Siege, America's Army: Proving Grounds and even would crash watching youtube videos. I tried all that I could find on forums, Wattman settings, different driver releases, DDU, Registry Tweaks (TdrLevel and TdrDelay) and even bought an 8GB set of RAM to see if it would help, it didn't. I tested with an old GPU I had laying around and had no problems. I should also mention that the card makes weird noises whenever it is running a game. I recently contacted the store I purchased it at and they said they would test it and send a replacement if needed. What do you guys think I should try? I'm open to anything before I send this card back, could it be my old motherboard?

Thanks in advance!

-Seb
