Over the past month i've built my first pc unit for the first time in a few years.
Specs:
CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 9600X 6-core
GPU: XFX AMD RX 7900 GRE
MEMORY: 32GB (2 x 16GB CRUCIAL PRO 6000mhz DDR5)
MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE B650I AX
COOLER: BE QUIET! SILENT LOOP 2
STORAGE: ACER PREDATOR GM7 4TB SSD
PSU: CORSAIR SF750
CASE: NR200 SFF
OS: WINDOWS 11. 24H2
OUTPUT DEVICE: LG G1 tv
GAME PLAY DISPLAY SETTING:
1080p or 1440p depending on game.
HIGH graphics.
The issue:
Whenever i play any game... whether its ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZONE or EA SPORTS FC 25 or FALL GUYS i get sound glitches. The audio cutting out for maybe half a second.. 1 time a minute.. sometimes 2 or 3 times in a minute.
At first i thought i was over stretching the GPU or CPU.. but no matter how low i go on graphics the issue remains. I have all the component monitors on looking at load and temperature and no issue shows itself.
Its a reaaaally irritating issue.
PC unit is plugged into a LG G1 TV via HDMI port. TV has been flawless. Zero issue with anything else ive had plugged into it, previous media centre pc, amazon stick, ps4. Zero sound cut out issues. Ive tried all the HDMI ports, also changing from HDMI port to using the DISPLAY PORTS on the back on the 7900 GRE.
I have also tried the HDMI port on the B650I and while the graphics were awful,.. the audio didnt break or glitch.
From testing this issue doesnt exist when using bloodtooth headphones. Only exists via the normal sound output via the graphics card for example via HDMI/DISPLAY PORT.
Can anyone assist?
