I have for a long time struggled with artifacting on my RX Vega 64, most commonly in the form of colorful blinking stars showing up in various circumstances. Usually, but not in all cases they can be avoided by changing game settings to something absurdly low for the supposed specs. I've added a recording of a couple of games where it's particularily noticeable, but the issue is not limiteed to these games. It is also present in games such as Destiny 2, Resident Evil Revelations 2, among many others.
Other issues:
Nier: Automata - Unplayable, frequent freezes in main menu (every few seconds)
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - Display driver stopped working, flickering black stretched out triangles.
These issues remain regardless of driver. Recently swapped out to a newer motherboard and CPU as well, and did a fresh windows install. Attempted several fresh installs of driver with DDU. No overclocking.
I am wondering if I should attempt to return this card and get a replacement?
I've had it for a bit over a year and I probably should have taken the issue more seriously sooner.
Started noticing it a couple of months after I bought it but thought it might due to bad drivers.
