apu build

I have multiple pc's. Currently my secondary is an fx8350/rx560 build. I'm thinking of building another so I can have one by my bed. My question is. If I build an apu rig. Will that be better than the rx560 build? My main is a 3900x/rx5700xt build.Just wondering which would be better by my bed and, which to use as secondary next to main.

Hey @EVI5R8R

It does not seem if an APU will be better than a RX 560 at the moment; for example, this seems to be the best integrated graphics at the moment and it only has better reflection performance: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-RX-560-vs-AMD-RX-Vega-8-5000-iGPU/3926vsm1415260, which could be due to ray-tracing.

The CPU of an APU would perform much better than a FX 8350 though, and you might experience better minimum frame-rates sometimes than on your FX 8350 if you get the latest APU technology. But, the link I shared seems to be a very new laptop APU.
