AMD using more VRAM than NVIDIA
When I play Watch Dogs 2 in the settings menu it reports around 2.5GB of VRAM usage, however afterburner reports 3.8-4.0 GB of VRAM usage. My old NVIDIA card used around 3GB. I have a the RX 6500 XT and I'm afraid it's PCIE lanes are bottlenecking it since I use PCIE 3.0. Any answers appreciated. 🙂

yes you are bottlenecking it because its lanes are limited to 8x so its at pcie 3 x8 BUT i dont think thats going to increase the vram usage, the card may just allocate more. bigger question would be how does it play?

It plays alright but moving my mouse towards the city maxes out gpu (it didnt max out my 1050 TI) completely freezes the game for a sec or drops the frames to 8-21FPS.
